We are the Green Office at the University of Konstanz, the student-led Green Office promotes sustainable development in all campus activities whether it is related to teaching or day-to-day campus life at the university.

Our weekend started with the arrival of our lovely coaches Helen and Noah to the sunny Konstanz in a nice spring day. We got to know each other through movement game and understood at the very beginning that we would have a very nice weekend together filled with productivity and laughter. After going through the program overview we have assigned hats for our responsibilities ranging from snack duty to time keeping to make our weekend smoothly.
We then moved on to creating the Tree of Expactations where we have written our expectations, our contributions and possible worries we have about the coaching, which we have realized our common expactations about what we want to achieve during the weekend, we ended the first day of our coaching by sharing one-on-one chats combined with mindful walking exercise.
Our second day started with a check-in, the beautiful sunny day let us be outside the whole day where we have started our coaching with with an exercise where we positioned ourselves in a spectrum on questions about the Green Office and afterwards our coaches decided that it would be very beneficial if we exercised Non-Violent Communication with each other, in this exercise we have appreciated each others best qualities, apologized for our shortcomings and asked for help in the areas where we needed help. After this we started preparing our lunch all together, where we enjoyed white asparagus, potatoes and a nice salad.

After lunch we laid on the grass, and with the guidence of one of our coaches, Noah, we started visioning a Green Office in Konstanztopia 🙂 The exercise helped us understand what kind of a Green Office we want to see in Konstanz in the next five to ten years even when we are no longer students at the university. We then moved on to share what we have imagined to each other and adding them to a Flower of Goals. After this exercise we have enjoyed coffee and hot chocolate and the amazing cakes our team member Anton baked for us in the morning. We have splitted in to two groups at this point to create a timeline for the two goals we decided using the SMART-KISS method which were space and reaching out. In pair of two we have written down realistic goals we can achieve in different timelines and we have presented our ideas to our coaches and teammates to create a more concrete timeline with milestones. We have finished our day with a check out and closed the day with Rakete.

Contarary to our first two day, our last day was very rainy but we still managed to create a cozy space to work on the goals we established the day before. With the help of our coach Helene, we created a road-map to put our goals in a timeline, creating a very beneficial structure for the upcoming months. We have finished our weekend with a check out and appreciated our company for the last few days we have spent together.
